I once said that Pete had no influence over my outfit. That wasn't quite true for today. When I was pondering what to wear, this was the conversation:

Me: No idea what I'm wearing tomorrow.
Pete: 70s?
Me: Yeah. Annie Hall!
Pete: What?

Cue a quick Google of some images so Pete knew what on earth I was on about and this outfit was set. My work colleagues said it was very smart and a bit quirky which is all good in my book. I'm really into the menswear look at the moment, with a touch of gangster thrown in for good measure. Amusingly, I was the only person in the office wearing a tie.

On the downside, I remember now that these shoes are majorly painful. My feet hurt...

You mean to say Pete has never seen Annie Hall??!! One of my favorite films (though I have many). Love the outfit and love the shot up the stairwell - reminded me of another film - can't remember which though...

I grew up in the Seventies, so I can attest to the huge popularity of this look back then. The movie was funny and thousands of women adopted this style. You replicate it well.

I'm a big fan of anything Diane Keaton, so I'm obviously a big fan of this outfit. :)

Damn girl. I love it. So many patterns going on, which really makes this look interesting and modern. Very inspiring (I'm downloading one of the pics to my inspiration file)! Thank you!

I've never seen Annie Hall, but at least I know what it is. ;)

In my own (limited) defence I have seen the film but this was BE (before Emma) so I wasn't focusing on the fashion.

I apologise to you all :-)

Hard shoot but great location.
