This outfit was inspired by one of Jane Fonda's looks in Klute. I loved her ruffled, 70s shirt with a waistcoat and short skirt. On me, the waistcoat looked better fastened but I think it remained pretty true to the look.
I've finished work for Christmas but I still seem to be in a possible work outfit. In my head, this didn't pass muster for the office but now I see photos I think it would have been fine. Expect a more relaxed look tomorrow.
As you can see from the photos, the snow is back with a vengeance. It strangely seems a whole lot prettier when you don't have to go anywhere in it. Spent the day decorating the house and trying to get ready for Christmas. I still can't believe how close we are - I think I need an advent calendar to count me down next year.

I LOVE that waistcoat. Just trying to spot the Victorian street lamp in your snowy shots...
I agree that this outfit would be fine for work. The vest gives it a professional touch, while the printed shirt is fun and more outgoing.
