I seem to be endlessly waiting for the summer to arrive. Today was chilly, windy and rainy. I can't believe it's June in a couple of days and the summer still isn't here. In some ways it's worse now we have had some lovely weather last weekend.
Because it was rainy, I let my hair go curly. There really is no point in trying to get it to stay straight when there is so much moisture in the air. I think this is probably the only haircut I have ever had that looks OK curly, so I don't mind leaving it to do its own thing.
Today's photos were taken at my old university. The quad looked particularly great, despite the dull day. Thanks to my guest photographer, my Dad. Tracy asked which camera I use - it's a Nikon D3000, my leaving present to myself after I got made redundant. It's brilliant.
Another day off work tomorrow for Bank Holiday. Hope it's better weather.

oh cool--thanks for asking my camera question! :) Your pics are always so crisp and lovely.
You look so cute and pretty, and I really like your hair curly! What a gorgeous place to take pictures too :)
What stunning pictures of your university!
In a way,I am a little jealous to see that you can still wear tights...it's too blazing hot here in the US for that now...
Call me crazy, but I love the UK weather!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment!
