This outfit has been hanging on my door for at least a week, but I never got around to wearing it. Today I needed something simple as last night I was too tired to plan - I entirely blame the train being late. So I made the most of the joys of a readymade outfit.
Planning to walk to work but didn't quite leave in time. This meant that I had the chance to stop off on the way in and take these photos. I'm so lucky to have such great locations on my doorstep. I particularly like this broken-down fence. Don't I look like I'm up to no good on the first photo? I assure you that I didn't sneak through.
Had a wonderful time in London. And took some photos in Jo and Alex's garden to prove that I did wear the right outfit:
My hair is up because I couldn't be bothered to take my straighteners with me.
There's really nothing better than sitting in the sun, chatting with your friends and painting your fingernails.

Actually, that's not true. You can be sitting in the garden in the sun, chatting with your friends and eating the best Chelsea bun ever. Mmm.
Thanks for having me, girls. It was great.

You look great in this! I love the green, and the details on the skirt. That fence is a great backdrop--I love taking pix against rustic stuff like that!
I'm excited about the swap--for some reason I didn't receive your email until Megan added her response and sent it to both of us. I responded to you both--looking forward to this!
Hi Tracy
Thanks for your comment. I've replied to your email, so I hope that one comes through ok.
Really excited about the swap.
New skirt? Am liking the last few outfits from over the weekend and the end of last week. Methinks you have stepped up a notch for your new job! Or maybe it is just the more glamorous surroundings in the pics that show you off to your best advantage! x
Yep, new skirt. Have to be smarter for the new job but also think natural light helps to show off the outfit details. Or maybe it's all the other bloggers rubbing off on me.
What great patterns and textures, I just love seeing what you put together! Can't wait for our mail swish!!!
